Lamont Walker
Lamont Walker is another Morgan Park High School standout, winning back-to-back state championships in 2013 and 2014. He continued his success at Texas Southern University, where he was part of SWAC Championship teams in 2017 and 2018, earning back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances. As a coach, Lamont led Nicholson STEM Elementary as Head Coach to a City Championship in 2021 and has continued to make an impact at Kenwood Academy — serving as JV Head Coach for the 2025–26 season and earning a City Championship as an Assistant Coach in 2024–25.
Dellan Whatley
Dellan Whatley brings championship experience at every level. He was Ayo Dosunmu’s assistant coach during Morgan Park High School’s 2018 3A State Championship run and was also part of the historic 2013 and 2014 3A State Championship teams. Dellan made history as the first coach to win both Small Fry Rookie and Varsity championships in 2014. His coaching journey includes serving as Morgan Park’s freshman coach in 2017 and sophomore/varsity assistant from 2017–2020. Most recently, he helped lead Ayo Dos Elite to a Hoops Elite 8 appearance in 2024.
